I enjoy most things that could be described with the words: “outdoor,” “active,” “competitive,” and “together.” The activities that I enjoy most combine these words into one activity such as playing hockey, spike ball, playing Settlers of Catan, or hiking.
My passion for Youth Ministry is rooted in a desire to see how God is working in the lives of youth and how He is using them for his purposes! This is likely a reflection of why Galatians 1:10 is my favourite verse.
“ Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.”
I love this verse because of how impactful it has been in my life especially as I navigated high school and university. This verse serves as a constant reminder that we belong to God so we should be motivated to live in a way that pleases him not other people.
